Happy Monday y'all! I am still on the high from my birthday weekend! It was so amazing and I have my amazing family and friends to thank! I'll share more on that later this week! However I am equally as excited about today's blog post because it is about the best sale that any store really has ever in my opinion! It's almost time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I know every blogger is sharing about the sale but I couldn't not share this amazing yearly sale that truly cannot be missed. I've put together a little guide for those who might not be familiar with the #NSale and for those that do know about it can use this as a little refresher. As always, make sure to come back here during the sale for all my favorite picks from the sale! What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Anniversary Sale is Nordstrom's biggest sale of the year, seriously! This sale allows shoppers to shop all the Fall New Arrivals at a discounted price (up to 50% off) before the prices go up to regular price. Some of the items featured normally NEVER go on sale, so this is the time to snag those fall must haves! There are no promo codes, everything is reduced during the time frame of the sale.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Here is where it gets exciting! The sale is open to the public July 20th - August 5th, BUT if you are a Nordstrom cardholder you can get EARLY ACCESS to the sale on July 12-19th! Early access begins on the 12th at 12 am PST / 3 AM EST. The key to this sale is really having that Nordstrom Card because let's just say, items do sell out pretty quickly! Remember prices go back up August 6th. Also you can shop online and in stores!
What Is On Sale?
Everything on sale is Fall 2018. From sweaters to jeans to boots to makeup and home decor, there are hundreds of items you can choose from. You can check out the #Anniversary Sale Catalog for just some of the items that will be available! My advice for shopping the sale, because we all will probably make multiple purchases, is to snag those hot items first before they are gone. This includes cardigans, tees and anything on the lower price point (I would say under $50). Also if like multiple colors of the item, order them! You can always return them if they don't fit or you aren't into it, but snag them while they are available!
How Do I Receive Early Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
If you are already a Nordstrom Cardholder (debit and credit cardholders) you can get early access to the sale beginning July 12th. If you aren't a cardholder, I highly suggest signing up! I signed up 3 years ago for the debit card and I am SO glad I did. Not only do I get early access but you get Nordstrom Notes. For every 2,000 points you earn (you earn 2 points for every dollar you spend) you will get a $20 Note and it's a debit card so the money comes right out and you don't have to worry about paying it off! Trust me, the early access is probably the biggest perk because as I said before, things sell out VERY quickly, so getting the hot items first is key! If you are wanting to apply for a credit card or debit card, you can apply here and if you join you can instantly get a $40 note if you make a purchase the day you sign up!
Do I Really Need Another Credit Card?
For those of you who aren't comfortable getting the Nordstrom Card, you can join Nordstrom Rewards, which is for every dollar you spend, you get 1 point and at 2,000 points you receive a $20 Nordstrom Note. You don't get early access to the sale but you can still earn rewards if you choose to go this route!
Basically this sale is like Christmas in July, that is really the best way to describe it! I thought I would also share some of the items that I am already dying over and can't wait to snag! Notice if you click the link, it will show Sold Out, but the minute the sale begins it will be available! I have already seem some of these items already on many blogger's wish lists, so these will probably go very quick!
