As most of you know I grew up in Houston, Texas and the devastation from Hurricane Harvey has broken my heart. The storm has hit the town I grew up in and many of my friends, who are basically family, have been directly impacted by the storm. The events are heartbreaking to watch such an incredible city be destroyed by such a nasty storm. I myself lived in Texas during two similar storms and while its been a really long time, I can remember the fear of not knowing what's going to happen or how long you will have power etc. These kind of things make you stop and realize what is truly important and how in just a blink of an eye, everything you know and love can be taken away from you. Please keep everyone in Houston in your thoughts and prayers, we are hoping the worst is over but we don't know for sure. I've also included below some ways you can help Houston residents from afar.
