Well it has been a crazy exciting past few weeks here on the blog! I just want to thank everyone again who entered my holiday giveaway series and to all the brands who contributed such amazing prizes, I can't wait until next year! I am excited though to bring everyone some more new posts just in time for Christmas, can you believe its nearly a week away! Last week, Pantone announced the "Color of the Year" and as someone who loves fashion, this is like exciting for me every year! While last year's radiant orchid stole the show, this years color of the year is another gorgeous shade. Marsala was named the 2015 color of the year, and when I first heard the name all I could think of was "oh no is it like a chicken marsala sauce color!?" Luckily I was very wrong as its a red-brown hue thats very similar to that glass of wine you might drink every evening! While there has definitely been mixed reviews of the color choice (some called it icky, yes they used that term) others have embraced it and are already planning what they can do to add this color to their wardrobe! To me this color reminds me of an oxblood or even a wine red, so I am loving this! I decided to round of some stylish fashion and beauty items in the Marsala hue that are perfect for the holiday season and the new year to come! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday!
