I can't believe today marks 12 years since September 11th. It feels like it was just yesterday I was only in 7th grade hearing about the tragedy that happened in NYC and wanting so bad to help in whatever way I can. 3,000 innocent people lost their lives that day and today marks the day to remember those who lost their lives to help others that horrible day. During my trip to NYC next month, I am hoping to have time to go visit the World Trade Center Memorial and pay my respects to those who lost their lives. Today is a day to remember those and be grateful that we are Americans.
