Stylish Fashion Company: Velvet Brigade

When I first started college at Colorado State, my original degree was Fashion Design. I always wanted to create my own clothing line but had no drawing abilities whatsoever, but I thought that college my teach me that, but at freshman orientation I saw my class schedule and knew that I wouldn't last so I quickly changed my major to fashion merchandising, but little did I know I would be graduating 3 years later with a BA in Fashion Marketing from AI Phoenix, needless to say a lot has changed in the past amazing three years of my life. 
While I still can't draw that well, I have attended art school so I have gained some knowledge on drawing, but I knew when Shae at Bollare PR told me a new company she is working with, Velvet Brigade, I knew I had to tap into my inner fashion designer and share with my readers! Velvet Brigade's mission is to empower aspiring fashion designers and online communities of fashion-lovers to create an apparel brand together. So you don't have to be an artist to participate in this! So here is it how it works!

How it works:

Step 1. Submit a design: Aspiring Fashion designers, illustrators, hobbyists submit design ideas.

Step 2. Cast Your Vote:  The community comments on designs and votes for their favorites.

Step 3. Shop the Winners: Winning designs are put into production, the designers name is put on the tag and shares revenue with Velvet Brigade.

It's a place where anyone can go and submit a design and have the chance to make their dream come true! This is truly an incredible idea, and I am shocked that it is just now getting the press it should have gotten long ago!
